Every Computer user is quite familiar with Windows XP (eXPerience) operating system and those who are not might be non livings. Windows XP is still being used by a huge share or computer users, mostly by Government Institutions, Business class, In schools and Colleges for teaching purposes etc. But if this huge share gonna stick with XP after 8th April, 2014, they put their confidential data and resources at a huge risk. As the makers of XP operating system, Microsoft, will take back its support in future and don't provide any kind of security patches, updates etc. After serving more than twelve long years, the most used operating system is soon going to die, as said by microsoft.

Deadline Penned Down By Microsoft

The Banking community which is using windows XP mostly for any kind of their work will have to suffer if they further decide to not to switch to any other operating system from it. Any serious vulnerability or flaw taken over by the cyber criminals in operating system may cause huge financial damages to the banks that may be unbearable by any of them. Around 2 million devices are running with windows xp including Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), it may be difficult to certainly switch over to some another operating system in such a short time-span. As this switching is like impossible in the time, banks may be paying millions of dollars to Microsoft for extension of their support to the OS.

As all users in one or another way are connected to internet, so, most of their systems can be taken down with just installing malwares in their machines running obsolete or outsourced OS.
I suggest all the readers of the blog to immediately switch their operating systems from XP to Windows 7,8 or 8.1 to stay safe and secure.
The deadline is fixed by microsoft, so stay updated with the operating environments.
