Tweak DNS To Speed Up Web Browsing

Everyone today seeks a fast surfing internet connection no matter it is business class or it is for internet geeks. From this tweak internet users find it handy to speed up their web browsing no matter how fast their internet connection is. Everyone thinks that how this is possible but it can be done and internet pages load like a charm.

Boosted Internet Speed

So, here's a little description on how DNS (Domain Name System) Works:-
An internet user access the various websites by typing Website address like https://www.google.com but routing devices only understand the language of IP(Internet Protocol) Addresses. When you type google.com this host-name is being translated by the DNS Servers to google's ip address 74.125.200.101. DNS servers provide that name to ip resolution automatically.
So, here's the solution to speed up the browsing speed of your internet connection. By simply using the OpenDNS service, OpenDNS basically offers DNS resolution as an alternative to using Internet service providers' DNS servers.
You can order your system to use OpenDNS servers rather than the ones provided by your respective ISPs(Internet Service Providers).

How to Apply these settings:-
1. Go to networking sharing center then shoot your mouse towards your internet connection.
2. Click on properties and then select TCP/IPv4 and click properties.
3. Chose "Use the following DNS Server Addresses"
In the First Box type "208.67.222.222"
In the second box type "208.67.220.220" then press ok, ok and close.
And you are done with tweaking internet surfing speed.

Tip:- How to find a particular website's ip address:-
Open Run (Windows key+R) and type "cmd" and hit enter. After command prompt opens type the following command "ping google.com" (without quotes) as in the following snapshot--
